Monday Manicures

Hello everyone!!

I don't actually have my nails painted today but this is what I had on this weekend. I don't have them painted because I am in this British Lit class and we are doing a scene from Pride and Prejudice tomorrow and I volunteered to be a guy because there were not enough girl parts (plus it's super fun being a guy! I will try to post pictures tomorrow.) Anyway since I am a guy I can not have painted nails obviously. ;) I will post more on that later. Anyway onto nails! We are Catholic, and my older brother got confirmed this past Saturday, and I wore this super pretty blue dress with green around the waist, but I didn't want to paint my fingers blue, so I just painted white diagonal tips. Very elegant and pretty. My toes are blue to match my dress and I wore these super pretty white sandals so you could see my toes.  I can post Tuesday Toes tomorrow if you want me to. The flower design is the same one as my toes had on when they were green. I really really liked that design. So comment down below and tell me if you want me to post pictures anyway.  This is a little weird picture, but I wanted to make sure I got a picture of them before they chipped or anything. So this picture was actually taken in my Grandma's car when we were driving to the store;) It actually came out pretty well, the lighting is really good in this picture. I am really excited, because school is almost done!! And most of our activities are finishing up!! Except for ballet and baseball:) Which do take up a lot of time... But still it's nice to be almost done with classes and stuff!! We will have baseball throughout the summer because my older brothers baseball league starts later and goes throughout the summer. I will still be able to post a ton more though!!!!!!

Perfume

While perusing through HEB with my wonderful sister, who needed some hairspray for reasons undisclosed to my quite attentive ears, I happened to catch glimpse of purple box with a picture of Justin Bieber and a guitar positioned on it's facade. After this, I glanced over to my sister, (to make sure that she wasn't one of the trillions of teenage girls who will stare at the beloved pop star any chance they get), I proceeded to take a closer look at it. The first thing that caught my eye was the title of "Girlfriend," next, I read the price tag, which informed me that the tiny bottle of scent was $55.00.

Now, I don't know what the thought process behind the purchase of an item this outrageously overpriced is, but am I the only one that thinks that perfume is one of the most pointless items imaginable? I mean, it's understandable to have the desire to smell nice, but 55 dollars for a bottle of perfume?!?! Let me run you through my top 3 reasons not to buy this valueless product.

1.) Nobody's smelling you. I know, it's hard to believe, but when I'm walking by a girl, my first thought is not, "does she have Taylor Swift's "wonderstruck" on?" Seriously, this should be the most obvious reason.

2.) The price. I hope I'm not the only one that thinks even $30 for a perfume is too much.

3.) ethanol, acetaldehyde, benzaldehyde, benzyl acetate, a-pinene, acetone, benzyl alcohol, ethyl acetate, linalool, a-terpinene, methylene chloride, styrene oxide, dimenthyl sulphate, a-terpineol, camphor, and limonene.  Some of these chemicals cause irritability, mental vagueness, muscle pain, asthma, bloating, joint aches, sinus pain, fatigue, sore throat, eye irritation, gastrointestinal problems, laryngitis, headaches, dizziness, swollen lymph nodes, spikes in blood pressure, coughing, and burning or itching skin irritations. ( Yeah, scary right?)


In short, the plethora of scents in the market perpetuates a profusion of mordancy throughout my being.

Tuesday Toes

 Hi guys!
I haven't done Tuesday Toes in a while and I was going to post this last week but I didn't get enough time to do it, so actually I need to redo my toes again soon so you will get to see another Tuesday Toes soon! I did a neon pink (the same color I had on my fingers) And then did a flower on it. I only have few more weeks of school and then I'll be able to post more often!! I am so ready for summer, in case you haven't noticed;) I obviously took these pictures in the car and that is Thomas's head in the background. We were on our way to baseball and I had forgotten to take a picture earlier so I decide to go ahead and take one so I would definitely have one if something happened.

Monday Manicures

Hey guys! 

This week I am experimenting with different gradients and so the first one I did was with orange. I might post a few more gradients later in the week, but we will see:-) I am really sorry I didn't get my Perfect Pedi posts up last week, I am really busy during the week with everything finishing up for the summer, and then we normally have baseball all day Saturday and baseball on Sunday. In addition to during the week of course. FYI I am going to be super busy this weekend so I will try my hardest to post my post this week, but please understand if I don't. I am going to write up my Tuesday toes post right after this one and schedule it for tomorrow so that it will definitely get up this week.

Really really sorry I didn't get Tuesday toes up yesterday!! I was going to do it last night but then I got home late and my older brother was on the computer. I already have the picture and they will be up next Tuesday!!!

Monday Manicures

Hey guys!
So I am so so ready for summer! I know I say that in like almost every post but I am just so ready... I was going to hold off on doing neon colors until summer, but.... well.... I live in TX and it's already getting up to 90 degrees here and I am starting to wear shorts and I have been wearing flip-flops for a couple months already so I decided to go ahead and start doing summery nails. I did a neon pink and then a tropically flower. This is not the best picture and I will try to get a better one tomorrow when I will have better lighting, but this will do for now. It's really a neon pink even though it doesn't look like it in the picture. I will also be posting Tuesday Toes tomorrow, so you will get at least three posts this week!:) Who else is ready for summer? I have been really busy on weekends lately which is why I have been posting Monday Manicures late on Mondays, since I don't have time to paint my nails on the weekends I have been painting them Mondays after ballet. If you guys have any requests for posts leave them in the comments, I am always open to suggestions! I have started planning when I am going to post all my future posts.
